Whether you’re currently engaged in association governance or want to learn more as you plan your career and leadership development, the ALA Governance Institute (AGI) will offer the leadership and professional development skills needed for impactful leadership and effective decision-making.

The AGI is inspired by the recognition that association leaders and prospective leaders face, increasingly complex leadership situations, and high expectations for responsiveness to a wide range of constituents and stakeholders. Seasoned ALA leaders, staff, and other subject matter experts will serve as Institute faculty. 

  • The in-person AGI session will take place Friday, January 24, 2025, and is open to the first 180 LLX registrants who sign up. 
  • There is no separate registration process for AGI. Just sign up when you register for LibLearnX.
