Proposal Evaluation Criteria

The LibLearnX Program Proposal Rubric will be included in the call for proposals and on the submission site for your use. Carefully review the selection criteria and keep it available for reference when creating your proposal. Writing your proposal so that it clearly addresses all criteria on the rubric will make it easier to score.

Program Submission Guide

Refer to the in-depth LibLearnX Program Submission Guide for detailed explanations of the learning formats, proposal evaluation criteria, and detailed step-by-step instructions on submitting a proposal through the submission site. The guide also includes proposal writing tips and links to examples of LLX programs that were reviewed positively by the selection team and evaluated favorably by attendees. 

Presenter Expectations

All presenters are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and registration fees.

Education Formats

LibLearnX emphasizes active and applied learning. Learning formats support a range of instructional methods that allow attendees to choose the content, materials, and methods that match their learning styles and professional development goals. 

Accelerator (2-3 hours)

Blended learning or a session that takes place outside of the conference setting which models out of the box thinking and solutions and may apply cross-disciplinary approaches.

Ideas Xchange (30 minutes)

Peer-to-peer conversation on the topics that matter most to the library community.

Learning Lab  (60 minutes)

Action-based instruction that delves into specific methods, approaches, and opportunities.

ShopTalk  (15-20 minutes)

Bite-sized presentation on hot topics and trends that includes practical knowledge, tips, and key tangible takeaways.
